The world's most famous adoptive mom says she is open to adoption, but this is not the right time to adopt in Haiti. She has endorsed instead, the work of SOS Children's Villages.

Angelina Jolie visited Haiti recently, and is raising awareness of SOS Children's Villages which provides aid to Haiti's children and their families, left hurt and homeless by last month's devastating earth quake.

In a CNN interview with reporter Christiane Amanpour, the actress and Goodwill Ambassador, was asked if she were planning to adopt a child from Haiti.

"We are that kind of family," she answered. "Brad and I talk about adoption all the time. However, this is not the time to adopt. "What is important now, is to reunite Haiti's children, separated by the earthquake, with their families."
